   1. (Physiol.) The fluid which is excreted from the skin of an
      animal; the fluid secreted by the sudoriferous glands; a
      transparent, colorless, acid liquid with a peculiar odor,
      containing some fatty acids and mineral matter;
      perspiration. See Perspiration.
